CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Continuing its commitment to the broader community, Penn State Lehigh Valley’s 罗纳德·K. De Long Gallery will host this year’s Parkland 艺术 League Members Exhibition.
The exhibit will run Monday, 5月23日, 到周五, 7月8日, when the De Long Gallery will hold a closing reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Free and open to the public, the reception also will include an awards ceremony beginning at 2 p.m.
All told, the exhibit will feature work from 21 regional member artists of the Parkland 艺术 League.
“It is a pleasure to host this exhibition that is open to all Parkland 艺术 League members,” said PSU-LV Gallery Director and 艺术s Coordinator Ann Lalik. “Some are seasoned exhibiting artists and some are newer to the world of showing their work.”
Formed in 1963, the Parkland 艺术 League is currently made up of more than 80 members. In addition to exhibiting the work of members, the group is committed to encouraging friendship among artists, awakening and sustaining interest in art, offering the public the chance to purchase original art, and providing opportunities for artists to advance their skills through its regular workshops and library of instructional videos.
Gallery hours for the De Long Gallery are Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. 到8点.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. 到下午4点.m.
